Jameson 18 Years, a blend of Irish whiskeys matured in American and European oak barrels and finished in first-fill American bourbon barrels for a minimum of 6 months, is getting a packaging redesign and the ABV of Jameson 18 Years has been increased from 40% to 46%, which also removes the need for chill filtration and should result in a whiskey with a richer mouthfeel and more depth of flavour.
