The nose is dominated by lots of pure blackberry, crushed herbs, earth and peppery characteristics. The mouth is full-bodied, and very rich with soft and fine tannins. The finish is fresh with a surprising elegance.

The Lieu-Dit Narassa of Lafage has its origins in particularly old Grenache and Syrah vines. These are deeply rooted in the brown weathered schist soils around Maury along the southern slopes of the Massif des Corbières. After a particularly meticulous selection of the grapes, they are pressed and crushed for Narassa at the Lafage winery.
